At the invitation Pakistan Southern Military, Mr. Zhang, Chairman of COPHC went to Quetta exchanged views of Chinese employee’s safety issue in Gwadar area. Interior Minister of Baluchistan, Chairman of GPA, Chief Executive of Makran area attended the meeting. Mr. Zhang, Chairman of COPHC showed appreciation for Gwadar area’s security provided by Southern Military, especially for the security provided to Chinese employees. He hoped that two sides should strengthen communication, deepen mutual trust and ensure the safety of life and property of Gwadar Port, Gwadar Free Zone and employees.

During the visit of Quetta, Mr. Zhang, Chairman of COPHC visited Mr. Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, Chief Minister of Balochistan, and reported Gwadar electric power plant and other projects. At the invitation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Pakistan, Mr. Zhang communicated with nearly business representatives of Gwadar Port and investment policies of Gwadar Free Zone.
