Mr. Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, Chief Minister of Balochistan and General Amir Riaz, Commander Southern Command General visited the Gwadar Port on April 13, 2016.

They were reported by Mr. Zhang Baozhong, chairman of China Overseas Port Holding Company (COPHC) and Mr. Dosten Jamaldini, chairman of Gwadar Port Authority about the development of Gwadar Port and Gwadar Free Zone. Chief Minister of Balochistan spoke highly of COPHC for its hardwork and effort in the reconstruction of Gwadar Port and the development of Gwadar Free Zone. He assured that the government of Balochistan would provide a better environment for the development of Gwadar Port and Gwadar Free Zone.

General Amir Riaz，Commander Southern Command General said that they would provide a secure environment of COPHC, and would maintain a security mechanism for the employees of COPHC.

Mr. Zhang reported to the delegation that COPHC had tried to implement its social responsibilities of the company, COPHC donated school buses to local schools and established educational fund, COPHC would do more in this regard and assure the local will benefit from the development of Gwadar Port and Gwadar Free Zone.
